The socks are comfortable and soft; when you turn on the button in the box where the batteries are, a red light turns on and then they start heating up. It's a pleasant feeling, and you can also connect them to a power bank.

Last for a few hours. Don't get super hot, but gently warm your feet. Suit someone with average sized feet. Not good if your feet are very small or very large.

They work well. Points to note are... the height of the socks and the battery pack mean it works for walking boots but not ski boots as the socks are too low for them. They are warm and as they use 3 aa batteries i found it easy to make sure they were charged and they should last. I have been wearing them to walk around the mountains without any rubbing issues and in -5 ° C and my feet have always been warm which is not usual.
