Excellent product that gives good, quality crimps every time if you mind your technique and make sure everything is properly aligned before you squeeze. The ratcheting mechanism and the ratchet release help a lot with this. Overall, i'm satisfied that this was a worthwhile purchase. Took off a star because i find that the handles tend to slip off the tool if you're squeezing hard. This hasn't affected crimp quality as it usually slides off at the end of the squeeze, but i could see it becoming an issue with larger gauges than i'm working with, and it's still annoying to have to reset the handle after every few crimps. This can probably be fixed with some hairspray or some other glue-like substance.
