It is a high quality item. I connected it to the alarm system with no issues it also benefits from an anti tamper switch which transmits a separate code to the magnet sensor. I did have to slightly file the internal clips to aid battery replacement in the future - it was too tightly clipped together which risked causing a breakage when one comes to change the battery.
