This turned out better than expected. There was 1 missing pieces, a large axel rod. But i borrowed one from a lego flower stem. All the pieces fitted together well. Some technic pieces needed a bit of force to fit together. Originally, my carriage would not move when the keys were pressed. I seen lots of other people have the same problem. I took that bit apart and built it again, but not as tightly, allowing moving pieces a bit of room to move freely. It worked better this time, but not every time. As i built more pieces on to the carriage, it became more reliable. By the end, every key press resulted in a lovely tapping sound and the carriage moved well. Definitely an adult set, too technical for a child. Good display piece.

This did not disapoint! I wanted the lego one however, so expensive, so chanced getting a none branded version and i was so impressed by the quality.

I grew up with tyoewriters. This kit braguht back some memories. As for the kit itself, the kit arrived safely and much faster than i expected. I have previously ordered some other kits which have taken up to three months to arrive. The pieces are all compatible with any other lego i have. The fit and finish on the pieces are quite good. The instructions are clear but a bit on the tiny side in a few places To me, this is quite exciting kit. I have only just started buikding it and i am looking forward to finishing it.
