This is the second one I've bought; I've used it for spinning fishing for catfish, and so far it has held up very well for two seasons. Fish up to two meters in length can be handled perfectly.

Excellent reel, it has a double bearing in the roller where the line passes, compared to other reels which have a low-quality plastic one; it can handle large fish without any problems.

Excellent reel, I already used it in size 6000 but it was too big for river fishing, so I opted for size 4000 which is more comfortable, smaller, and at a good price. The price-quality ratio is excellent without a doubt. The only thing missing is the braided line, and now in December, the good season for big bass fishing is coming.

I have this 2000 and the 4000 and 6000, they are very good and durable, the bearings are sealed and I use them a lot for fishing on the beach, they get wet and do not rust, I have other reels from expensive brands, these are better, much better.

Box came crumbled but did not affect the reel. All good in working order. Will order again. If you go in europe pike fishing or spinning maybe 4000 size would be the best. 5000 size is a little bit heavy but its gonna be great for bigger fish. I have been using centron 5000 for almost 4 years now for carp fishing and did not had any issues with it. Given that the megathron is almost double the money i am sure it can handle anything.
