This window sensor is a detector; do not confuse window sensors with motion sensors. It does not work as a full security system, but the sensors work well; highly recommended. When installing window sensors, first calibrate one sensor, then the second one, because they are interconnected and will give an error if you activate both sensors at the same time. The sensor can function as a doorbell, but the window sensors will not work with your main alarm system. It can work with a motion sensor as a doorbell or as a siren to deter thieves! Arrived on time (1 week), is the same as the picture, and works nicely. I was looking for a door alarm that i could put rechargable batteries in, and this one is perfect. One thing to note is that you can't change the sound of the alarm without the remote, if that's what you wanted. (you can still change the alarm mode though.)
