I bought it for an apple pie that required cutting apples into strips.
It takes some practice, but it did the job of slicing the apples into long strips.

I haven't tried it yet; the construction materials are ordinary, and the space for placing the piece to be cut isn't very big, but I think it will fulfill its purpose and I'll be able to make delicious apple pies and zucchini snacks.
