The max drag carp fishing reel arrived in good time to the uk and as described in the listing. The reels are of similar quality to the deukio range which i also have. Both brands offer good value for the price paid. The max drag has a smooth action with some ball races present. The bait runner rear drag seems to work ok and the over quality is fine for the price bracket. Minor flaws are some backlash in the gearing and spool mechanism, however this can be excused in this low price range. Not tested it yet in a fishing setup however i can't see any major issues arising. Many thanks to the seller.

Excellent reel for the money. This is already my second ordered reel. I recommend it. I will use it for catfish fishing in the summer. The baitrunner in the reel works well. My first reel like this caught catfish all summer and didn't break.

Third one of these i have bought 2x 5000 and 1 3000 size they are all working perfectly also the all metal construction is a bonus if i were to make a suggestion it would be to add a spare spool

Excellent product so far, I've already caught fish with one several times and bought two more because I'm very happy. Let's hope that in the long run they have durability; that's the only doubt we can have at the moment. It fulfills what it promises, a good purchase 100% recommended.
