This is already the tenth Tsurinoja reel. They never fail. I catch pike, perch, and zander with 0.23 line plus 0.23 fluorocarbon leaders. I catch pike weighing from 5 to 10 kg without any problems, thanks to the reel's settings. These reels never disappoint. It takes a long time to balance, but when I'm confident in the reel, it's a great feeling. It performs 100 percent.

For this price, it is a pretty decent reel, with no play, smooth operation, solid construction, very smooth brake adjustment and a spacious spool. Overall rating: a solid, inexpensive reel. It will be used for feeder fishing.

Impressive fishing reel. I bought the 2000 model and use it for squid fishing. It runs super smoothly without any play or noise. Powerful reel with excellent finishes. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Let's go step by step. I have a Tsurinoya that I love, made entirely of aluminum, the Brown Bear, which I've been using for quite some time in saltwater and it's perfect. This one, the Metis, is very well made and super soft. The construction is great and very firm and precise for a reel with a nylon body. And because it's nylon, its weight is significantly reduced. The crank and spool are made of aluminum and are super well made. The brake seems really great. For the price, there's certainly nothing better. It arrived super fast and without damage to the box and the reel.

For $25 it's great, it wraps the braid nicely, spins well, very good brake.
